Open lecture 18. March at 1800: "What is the ground?" by Tim Ingold
Tim Ingold (University of Aberdeen) is among the most prominent social anthropologists of our time. His work concerns our relationship with landscape, resources and materials. He has worked extensively with art and architecture in relation to anthropology, especially thinking through making and the concept of materiality.
In this evening lecture Ingold will reflect on the interaction between the body and the earth and the role of surfaces, with a particular emphasis on their application into architecture.
